View the latest rental vacancy rates for Perth and regional WA.
The reiwa.com vacancy rates are important indicators of how Western Australia’s rental markets are performing. Typically, a vacancy rate between 2.5 and 3.5 per cent represents a balanced market.
The reiwa.com vacancy rates are collated from a survey of REIWA members’ rent roll numbers and calculated as a ratio of vacant rental properties divided by total rental properties (occupied and vacant).
As the reiwa.com vacancy rates are collated via a survey, the accuracy is contingent on the sample of responses received from REIWA members. For that reason, the reiwa.com vacancy rates take between two and three weeks to be finalised (once the month has ended) to give enough time for all survey responses to be calculated.
