This character-filled 3 bedroom 1 bathroom home on a prime North Beach block is brimming with potential and truly is a rare “blank canvas” that is just waiting for your vision.
Whether you dream of restoring its vintage charm, extending its current practical layout or designing a brand-new modern masterpiece, the possibilities here are endless. Beyond a splendid and protected entry verandah, an interior with high ceilings is charmed by a spacious living room with solid wooden floorboards, split-system air-conditioning and a pleasant leafy outlook towards the warming morning sunshine.
Double sliders off here reveal an open-plan dining and kitchen area with a Westinghouse gas-upright cooker and low-maintenance flooring. A generous front carpeted master bedroom is the pick of the sleeping quarters with its floor-to-wall-to-ceiling built-in wardrobes and storage cupboards, ceiling fan and tree-lined aspect to wake up to.
The second bedroom is graced by timber floors, a built-in study desk and built-in robes and storage cupboards, whilst the rear third bedroom – off a flexible and versatile utility room – is carpeted and has its own split-system air-conditioning unit. A separate shower and bathtub in the bathroom help cater for everybody’s personal needs, with the separate back laundry playing host to shelving and a separate toilet.
Off the utility room you will discover a delightful rear patio and pergola area for private outdoor entertaining, amidst an elevated backyard setting that is somewhat of a “clean slate” with a corner garden shed – and heaps of room for a future swimming pool and more, if you are that way inclined.
Watch your step-count grow as you embrace leisurely strolls to the likes of Mettams Pool,
beautiful Bennion Beach, the Trigg Dog Beach and a host of local cafes and eateries, every single day. Bus stops are nearby and the bush is just a short walk away, with excellent schools – including Our Lady of Grace Catholic Primary School, North Beach Primary School and St Mary’s Anglican Girls’ School – also nearby.
The sprawling Clarko Reserve, food and coffee at both Trigg Point and Flora
Terrace and shopping – be it at North Beach or the newly-refurbished Karrinyup
complex – are all in very close proximity, too. Public and private golf courses, the
new-look Scarborough Beach and even Hillarys Boat Harbour are only a matter of minutes away also.
With its soothing sea breezes, fantastic location and unlimited scope to create, this is your chance to make coastal living exactly what you want it to be!

The name North Beach began as a descriptive name, derived from the suburb being at the time the most northerly of Perth's beaches. It was assigned in 1888 when surveyor Charles Crossland referred to the pastoral leases of Samuel Richard Hamersley as his "north beach coastal run". The suburb was originally set aside as a timber reserve in the 1860s and then as a quarantine area for camels entering in the 1890s. A number of orchards operated in the area with the only evidence that remains today an old olive tree on Hope Street.
Residential styles in North Beach include a mix of holiday dwellings from before and after World War II, some former workers' houses, and modern dwellings. As a residential suburb, North Beach has small shopping areas on the coast and at Flora Terrace and Castle Street which offer basic commercial services. The suburb features a tennis club and has two primary schools - North Beach Primary School and Our Lady of Grace School.
