Welcome to "the one" — where timeless character meets modern brilliance in the heart of riverside Maylands. This beautifully extended and renovated Art-Deco residence on tightly held Stone Street is everything a family could wish for… and more.

Behind the front fence and veggie patches lies a home that’s as warm and welcoming as it is impressive. Original jarrah floors lead you through the character-rich front of the home—featuring three generously sized bedrooms, a family bathroom, a cosy lounge and a flexible third living space perfect as a home study or activity nook.

The heart of the home is where it truly shines: a light-filled open-plan living, dining and kitchen zone that spills effortlessly onto a decked verandah through multiple timber doors. Entertain year-round under the shelter of alfresco blinds, while the kids or dogs play in the beautiful backyard.

The kitchen is a statement in style and functionality—stone benchtops, Bosch appliances, and a brick-clad breakfast bar bring texture and warmth. Behind it, a cleverly designed scullery (complete with walk-in pantry, extra sink, dishwasher and laundry access) lets you keep life’s mess out of sight.

Upstairs is a true parents’ retreat: soaring raked ceilings, full-height timber windows and doors opening to a private decked balcony with treetop views over Delacy Reserve. A luxurious ensuite and walk-in robe complete the dream.

With river walks, Maylands Primary, Delacy Reserve and the Maylands café strip all moments away, this is the ultimate family lifestyle—wrapped in character, flooded with light, and bursting with warmth.

Rare. Refined. Remarkable. Don’t let this one slip away.

Maylands overview

Maylands is a riverside inner-city suburb approximately 4.5 kilometres northeast of Perth, serviced by the Midland railway line on the northern bank of the Swan River. In 1896 the name "Maylands" was first used to identify the area, appearing on a poster advertising a land auction. However the exact reason how the area got its name is something of a mystery.

The suburb was once a source of clay for brick and tile making at Maylands Brickworks, and the pits from these activities are now part of a golf course and residential area. It was home to Perth's main airport until the early 1960s, and the facilities were converted to a training area for the Western Australian Police Service.

Life in Maylands

Maylands is known as a cultural and creative hub as it is home to The West Australian Ballet Centre and home to the WA Youth Jazz Orchestra. In recent years, new bars, cafés and restaurants, along with gourmet food and retail outlets have all contributed to an ongoing transformation of the town centre into a lively, diverse and inclusive destination. There are numerous shopping centres in the area, 15 parks and reserves and two primary schools.
